On May 21, the very first edition of the Generations Cocktail took place at New City Gas – a gathering of networking, gastronomy and social commitment.
The evening brought together 150 guests, mobilized to break the isolation of the elderly. Thanks to their generosity, and the invaluable support of our partners, $73,450 was raised to support our mission.
“We are all the seniors of tomorrow. And what we’re building tonight, together, is the supportive community we may need one day.”
– Ann MacDonald, Chairman of the Board, Little Brothers Foundation
An evening of connections and inspiration
In a warm and festive atmosphere, guests were able to :
- Exchange ideas with committed professionals;
- Enjoy an exclusive menu by Bazart and chef Jean-Philippe Cloutier;
- Watch a poetic performance by contortionist Marjorie Nantel (Vague de cirque);
- Meet the personalities who participated in the Isolation Breakers Comittee’s podcast series: Louise Harel, Sœur Angèle, Catherine Fournier and Jean-Philippe Cloutier.
We are deeply grateful to the public and political figures for their involvement in the evening. Their presence helps to promote links between generations and to mobilize society around the theme of better aging.

Thanks to those who make it possible
We would like to extend our most sincere thanks:
- To our committed partners:
Assante Wealth Management, Demers Beaulne, Power Corporation of Canada, Roynat Capital, Desjardins, Solotech, Studio Mile-Ex and New City Gas;
- To the dynamic members of the Isolation Breakers Committee, who conceived and orchestrated this exclusive event;
- To our team at the Little Brothers Foundation, whose dedication made the evening a success.
This is just the beginning…
This first Generations Cocktail demonstrated that when we join forces, we can build bridges between generations and amplify our social impact.
