An evening to remember for a Great Friend passionate about hockey
Do you remember Mr. Bourgault? His story touched many hearts. Last December, a newspaper article by journalist Louis-Philippe Messier highlighted his unfulfilled dream: to attend a game of his favorite team at the Bell Centre. Moved by this story, a generous company decided to surprise him with a special gift.
A gesture of solidarity that makes all the difference
Thanks to the kindness of ALBI Le Géant, our Great Friend, an avid hockey fan and sports statistics enthusiast, was able to fulfill his dream. On February 8th, he attended his very first game at the Bell Centre from the ALBI Le Géant box, surrounded by his volunteers.
And the generosity of this company didn’t stop there: two other Great Friends, Mr. Deschênes and Mr. Belleville, also had the joy of experiencing this unique moment.

Precious bonds and sincere friendship
Mr. Bourgault shared this exceptional moment with Manoela and Vitor, a volunteer couple with big hearts who have been paired with him for seven years. Their relationship has grown over time through meetings, outings, and weekly conversations. Whether it’s a feast at the sugar shack or a Christmas dinner, their camaraderie is a true source of happiness.
“They are like little generous children, I’m lucky to have them!” Mr. Bourgault says emotionally.
For Manoela and Vitor, their Great Friend is an inspiration: “Mr. Bourgault is a role model for us. He never complains, even though life hasn’t always been easy for him,” Vitor highlights.
