Earth Month is an opportunity to rethink our consumption habits and take concrete action for the environment. Giving a second life to our objects reduces waste while supporting an essential cause.
This is exactly what the Little Brothers Boutiques offer: a place where responsible consumption goes hand in hand with solidarity towards isolated seniors.
Why choose second-hand?
Every year, tons of clothes, furniture and objects are thrown away when they could still be useful.
Choosing second-hand means making a choice that makes sense:
- Reduce waste and limit over-consumption.
- Opt for an economical and sustainable alternative.
- Support an essential social mission.
The Little Brothers Boutiques: an eco-responsible and supportive alternative
Did you know that nearly 312 tons of items are received, sorted and recycled each year in our Gilford Street boutique?
Our two charity boutiques, located in the heart of the Plateau Mont-Royal, offer a varied selection of clothing, jewelry, books, toys and accessories. Every purchase supports the Little Brothers Foundation and helps break the isolation of seniors across Quebec.
In addition to being a place for responsible consumption, our boutiques are also a space for solidarity: they create social links and enable us to offer free items and clothing to the elderly people we support.
Concrete ways to take action today
- Shop second-hand: Discover our unique pieces and adopt a more sustainable way of consuming.
- Donate: Do you have clothing, accessories or decorative items in good condition that you no longer use? Bring them to our Gilford Street boutique and give them a new lease on life!
Together, let’s take concrete action to care for our planet and our community.
