Numbers That Reflect Your Impact
In 2023-2024, we supported nearly 2,750 seniors, an increase of 2.4% compared to the previous year. Among the new individuals we supported, 42% were referred to us by healthcare professionals, highlighting the importance of our presence in addressing urgent and often critical needs. These accomplishments would not have been possible without the help of 3,000 volunteers, who collectively contributed over 200,000 hours of support, providing a regular and reassuring presence for our Beloved Elders.
Ongoing Support for Essential Needs
Through our Wellness Program, 36 seniors received essential dental and auditory care. Additionally, our Vacation Program enabled 500 seniors to enjoy rejuvenating stays at the Domaine Juliette-Huot, offering them moments of respite and joy. Our initiatives were also bolstered by partnerships such as the Aging Well at Home and New Horizons for Seniors programs, which ensure sustainable support.
A Presence in Your Communities
Little Brothers continues to expand its efforts across Quebec with 15 active local teams and support provided in 12 administrative regions. Among all our activities, our two newly established teams in Granby and Gatineau are continuing their growth. Our charitable shops, a vital source of support, generated over $1.1 million in sales, making a significant contribution to our mission.
