Discover the 2024 volunteers winners

On October 19, we had the pleasure of celebrating the exceptional commitment of inspiring volunteers at our national awards ceremony. The event was an opportunity to highlight remarkable achievements and invaluable contributions to our mission.

For 15 years, Francine Caron has distinguished herself by her unwavering dedication. Every week, she visits the Great Friends of the Saguenay, offering a comforting presence and an attentive ear. Her participation at key moments such as Christmas and Easter testifies to her sincere commitment.

Francine also helps promote Little Brothers’ mission at events and through her invaluable administrative assistance. It’s through her steadfastness, energy and generosity that she wonderfully embodies the values of our organization.

Hubert-De-Ravinel Prize

Étienne Beaulac joined Little Brothers in 2020, at the height of the pandemic. He offered his support to Madame Raymonde through weekly friendship calls, before meeting her in person in 2021. Thanks to his patience and kindness, he was able to restore her taste for outings and activities, encouraging her participation in Little Brothers events.

His ongoing commitment illustrates the strength of human ties and the importance of a faithful presence in the lives of isolated seniors.

The project fosters intergenerational exchanges while enhancing participants’ artistic skills. Thanks to Aurélie, every Great Friend receives a personalized card for their birthday, a thoughtful and caring gesture.

Béatrice-Picard Prize

This year, the Béatrice-Picard Prize was created to honor the commitment of volunteers aged 65 and over. In 2024, the award was presented to Béatrice Picard herself, Little Brothers’ patron since 2007. At 95, she continues to support our values with kindness and determination.

Her intergenerational commitment, active support and lasting impact on our organization are an invaluable source of inspiration.
