Be the spark: Join our team of holiday volunteers

Do you have a little time to offer in December? Little Brothers is looking for volunteers with a big heart to offer warm moments of sharing with elderly people who have no family or friends. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these lonely people, and to create meaningful bonds with them that will last well beyond the holiday season.

For isolated seniors, the festive season and Christmas mean even more loneliness. In December, Little Brothers organize festive meals and deliver greeting cards and gifts. If some seniors are unable to leave their homes, volunteers call and visit them, providing much-needed comfort and warmth.

From December 22 to 26, 2023, in the Montreal, Longueuil, Laval, Lévis, Quebec City, Rimouski, Sherbrooke, southern Lanaudière and Trois-Rivières regions, we need you. Whether you choose to deliver gifts and sweets while spending time with seniors chatting over coffee, or entertain the meal as a professional musician, every gesture counts. We’re also looking for volunteers to accompany our Great Friends at our local Christmas meal. These special moments help to break down isolation and establish genuine human connections during a time of year when people tend to feel lonely.

Imagine the joy that lights up a senior’s face when he or she receives a gift, or when a friendly visit breaks the solitude. This is the magic we want to create together. By joining us, you will be the precious link that warms the cold winter days of our Great Friends.

When you join Little Brothers, you’re not just volunteering, you’re building meaningful relationships. Our volunteers and their Great Friends develop unique bonds, woven by sharing experiences and building beautiful relationships. Every gesture you make becomes a step in the creation of a friendship that stands the test of time.

Every bond created becomes a source of fulfillment and shared happiness. You can help provide unforgettable holiday moments for seniors. We look forward to sharing these festive moments with you!
